Please take a look at the following FAQs. If you have a question that isn't listed, please use our Enquiries page to get in touch.
Technically no, but this is an enthusiasts event for VW owners and you'll stick out like a sore thumb!
Expect your fellow campers to endlessly chide you on your poor choice of vehicle and cajole you into upgrading it - or more likely try to sell you an excellent "near runner" project that's languishing in their garage.
No. All VWs welcome, old and young, modified or original.
Yes, but please note spaces are allocated at approximately 7m x 7m for fire safety reasons.
Yes, there is plenty of space for a tent alongside your vehicle.
Sorry, no. Electric hook-up is not available on the site. Generators may be used on site between 9am and 9pm, but not constantly and we ask that due consideration should be given to your neighbours.
If you require club or group camping for four or more vehicles, please specify the name of the club or party when asked during the booking process.
Where feasible and with notice, we will make every effort to accommodate you.
Yes, pets are welcome provided they are kept under control. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times within the show areas.
And it shouldn't need saying, but dog excrement must be immediately cleaned up and disposed of. Ask Bozz about the story of his two year old and the toothbrush!
Yes, provided they are off the floor and fully out before retiring each night.
At the end of the weekend, all coals should be properly extinguished (preferably doused with water) before disposing of them.
Disabled toilets are available on the field and priority camping can be made available on an area of hard-standing closeby.
The field itself is uneven, but access to the cafe, bar and evening entertainment can be reached via a tarmac access road.
Overall, off the field, available surfaces are rough with compacted or loose stone covering, but suitable for a sturdy mobility scooter.
Please contact us via our Enquiries page if you would like further information.
Sorry no. It's a damp cloth or wet wipes for this one!
Bookings are now taken on the basis of one booking per vehicle. The intention is to cut the time and cost of issuing tickets and therefore maximise the money available for our Nominated Charity.
No worries about tickets going missing or losing your booking reference. All you need to do is show up in your nominated vehicle and wristbands will be issued on the gate.
If you have booked with a particular vehicle and need to change it for any reason, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with details using the email address you made your booking with.
If you've already booked and want to bring someone else in your specified vehicle, simply book further tickets entering the same vehicle reg, make and model.
Wristbands will be issued on the gate to the vehicle you specify when booking. One booking per vehicle. Should you need to change the vehicle for any reason, please email email@example.com with details using your booking email address.
We're sorry, but for insurance purposes we cannot offer day tickets or casual entrance to the campsite.
Why not buy a VW and come for a great weekend camping instead?
Please see Can I buy a day ticket? above.
No. Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance via this website. In previous years, the event has sold out early so we advise you Buy Tickets quick!
Sorry, no. Gates open 12.00pm (noon) for arrivals on Friday. Before that, we'll be busy setting things up and won't be available to process any arrivals.
The event is only 10 minutes drive from Blackpool seafront though, so you shouldn't be stuck for something to do in the meantime.
The postcode for Coast Riders Diner adjacent to the event field is FY4 5LB. Please see our Location page for a map and directions.
